All about the writer and journalist Elie Merheb

Elie Merheb ( Arabic: ايلي مرعب; born 7 December 1993) is a Lebanese writer and journalist, was born in Zouk Mosbeh. He completed his studies and obtained a university degree in Accounting Audit .He was ranked first as the best project in the subject of advertising and marketing on the Canadian University campus, according to the “Audience Public Voting” and the “Judging Committee”, which was chaired by the journalist Joe Maalouf, TV personality and presenter Mrs Mona Abou Hamze and President of the Beirut Marathon Association Ms May El Khalil. It also ranked third as the best project in the Lebanese tourism subject on the Canadian University campus. But his ambition was further , as he worked hard and stepped into the artist management industry, reaching a social media specialist position by running several accounts for many local known figures.
In 2015, Merheb started writing on papers. In the following year, he chose to write colloquially on social media, which took the attention and interest of many people in Lebanon and in the Arab world, to find out that in a very short time his writings are being spread widely and significantly, and his audience started growing and expanding to cover most of the MENA region. This huge success pushed the Lebanese and Arab press to begin supporting this rising talent, by talking about Merheb’s writings in special articles published in Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Palestine and Jordan.
A large number of artists, media professionals and well-known Lebanese public figures shared some of Elie’s writings and quotes on their platforms which showed how interested they got towrds his style and way of wirting. Moreover, Merheb was the first to follow a plan to promote his writings through a short video from several series, Luckily this idea reached the heart of the Lebanese well known actress Nadine Nassib Njeim and she turned to be the hero of these videos that received very high viewing rates, shares and insights.
From the huge success over the social media platforms, Elie got motivated to start preparing for the release of his very own book soon.
In 2018, Elie began stepping in the field of journalism on social media , However in 2020 it was the turnover, where he started officially writing articles at Awaelnews.com known as the First Celebrities news website; these articles written by Eli Merheb had spread a lot, featured with many positive comments.
